I know expensive brushes are awesome and last forever, but when you want to find a really good drugstore brand to buy your brushes for go for Eco Tools. I have had my Eco Tools brushes for a long time and washed them multiple times as well. There was very little to no shedding in these brushes and they stay as soft as the day you bought them. So the big question is do they get the job done? Yes they do and very well I might add. There are brushes for every kind of make up and many can be used for multiple things. I personally use one of my concealer brushes for MAC paint pots and other cream products. In addition to being awesome brushes these are cruelty free and eco friendly(Plus Alicia Silverstone has a hand in these). Basically these brushes are affordable easy to access and awesome quality.

So this is a quickie, recently I watched Burlesque with my best friend and Cher mentioned a trick I have never tried or thought of before, but it totally makes sense and really works. Are you ready to hear this insanely easy trick is… When using a gel or cream liner wet your liner brush to have easier application. I tried this and it made my liner glide on so much easier. While I used MAC fix plus to wet my brush just plain water will do the trick. so next time you are going to use a gel or cream liner try this trick for even better application. 

So this rave review is on a product from a drugstore brand that is pretty well known, Physicians Formula. While I love many products from this line this review is on the Eye Booster eyeliner. This product comes in three colors and also a colorless serum for those just looking for the lash boosting quality. I own this in ultra black and while I can’t vouch for the lash boosting (I don’t know if those claims are true because I have other products for this that could be the reason for my lash growth)I absolutely love the felt tip application. It is such easy application and is idea for those just starting out with a liquid liner. I have used this liner pretty much everyday since I bought it and it stays put no smudging and no budging. Obviously I love and recommend this liner.

I recently found a new author to adore, let’s be honest I have found a lot of new authors to adore, Jasper Fforde. If you love fantasy but you are slightly sickened by the thought of yet another vampire saga (which I do love) than you should check out one of Fforde’s Nursery Crime books. Fforde takes the beloved nursery characters from the past and places them in a real world setting with murders and psychopaths, a crazy gingerbread man to be exact. I have read The Big Over Easy cover Humpty Dumpty’s murder, no spoilers from me but I loved the plot and the writing of this book. Fforde fulfills my need for a fantasy book but does it in a fun way that isn’t going along with the trends of most fiction books today. You may never read your nursery rhymes the same way again after this.  

So many of us have heard about the crackle nail polish trend. I personally love the look and it has made an appearance in a few of my weekly manicures (that admittedly haven’t been very weekly lately.) I fell in love with the trend when I tried my OPI Black Shatter, but I have recently received the China Glaze Crackle Glaze in all the colors but one and let me tell you I am loving having options. This craze is quickly taking over many nail blogs and I can see why, no two manicures will be the same, even if the color scheme is the same no two nails crack alike. Some tips to having fun with these polishes are to paint in diagonals or horizontal rather than the normal vertical strokes. Another fun twist is to jut crackle the tip for a fun french. Keep an eye out for more companies to come out with their own crackle polishes (One I haven’t tried yet but am eager to is Mia Secret.) Also for all you die hard OPI lovers don’t fret OPI has a bunch of new shatters to come including a silver in the up coming Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides collection. I can’t wait! Big news, I was watching one of my favorite YouTubers (Micheal Buckly) And he happened to mention an exciting tid bit of news I just had to share… All our favorite shows from the 90’s will air on Teen Nick at midnight in a two hour block starting in the fall. I am not just talking about the cartoons like The Rugrats and Ah Real monsters but also classics such as Clarisa Explains it All and Are You Afraid of the Dark. You heard me right if you miss the 90’s tune in this coming fall to get a taste of your childhood every night. I know I will be watching.

So I keep saying oh I will eat better and exercise, then I do well for a few weeks and stop. Then I logged into YouTube today and one of my favorite gurus was talking about her get healthy journey and I am so much more inspired now! I hope that soon I will have a story that will inspire other to get into better shape too. I think everyone who has stuck to living healthier is amazing and you deserve much more than a pat on the back for that. Thank you all who are brave enough to share your success and the failure you endured to get there!

I know I have like a billion siblings (haha I know way over exaggerating), but you are the one I feel closest to, the one I look up to, the I admire, and one of my best friends. I know we may fight and have our regular sister moments, however on the end my life would never be the same without you. Dear Mom and Dad,

As cliche as it sounds I would not be who I am today if it wasn’t for you and your guidance. I know we don’t always agree, but I respect your opinions and really listen to all your advice. I could not ask for better parents, and I love that you two get along even better than people who are still married. I have to tell you that you have done everything you could do to raise your children to be great people and don’t ever think you should have done anything different. While dad you were more strict than most parents I know that I needed the responsibilities and discipline you gave me. Mom I always knew and still know that I can come to you with any problem. I don’t ever feel like I have to spend time with you like other people my age feel about their parents I want to spend time with you both.
